ABOUT PICKLEBALL FOR LIFE DESIGNS

Pickleball for Life Designs is the pipedream of a retired Fire Department Training Officer. Decades of developing a wide variety of training materials for a full-time fire department resulted in a fairly extensive graphic design skill set.

Like many who retire sooner than they would like, a search for fulfilling activities for both body and mind began. Pickleball was an instant hit for a somewhat beat-up body and was a great source of laughter and friendship with the added bonus of restoring some lost athleticism.

Every pickleball enthusiast knows the humor that the game can provide and, on the more serious side, the health benefits it can promote. In talking with others who are in love with the game it became apparent that the existing pickleball apparel and novelties were merely knock-offs of other sports’ items.

Hence, "Pickleball for Life Designs" was established to develop fun designs from the minds of those who really live the game. These designs could then be printed-on-demand on various apparel and accessories to be enjoyed by others who love the game.

OUR APPROACH

Unlike most, our approach is to develop a great design, then let the consumer decide what product and color they would like have it on. This is made possible by offering the products via print-on-demand. Our approach is:

Everyone has their own "funny bone" and everyone has their own "pickleball for life" story. This approach allows us to develop a wide variety of designs to choose from to make your own statement.

We are always looking for new ideas and encourage visitors to the site to drop us a line with an idea or product they'd like to see.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Since this is a retirement project, our goal is to spread an appreciation of the game of pickleball rather than a desire to make a fortune. Our financial goal is to make enough to justify the cost of keeping the project going.

To that end, we hope that the project will promote itself and request that our visitors pass-on our information. The suggested advertising budget for our site was completely unrealistic (we'd have to sell some 60,000 shirts per month), thus we must rely primarily on word-of-mouth from pickleball enthusiasts.
